We Have A Choice (SpeakUp)


Hi guys
      The presidential election is tomorrow February 16, my fellow Nigerians are you guys excited?. Because I sure am, but i can't say for all Nigerians. I really can't generalise my opinion on this matter.

      I have a strong feeling about this election hopefully it won't be fatal. During this period individuals get hyped and emotional  (politically).

      But this article  is not about the debate between political parties , it's to remind us that we have a choice. During this particular time individuals try to force their opinions on others. When it comes to politics we have different opinions and rooting for different political parties.

      However many believe that the election will be closely fought between the candidate of the two leading parties  (APC & PDP) but forgetting that there are alot more registerd candidates who will appear on the ballot paper on February 16, 2019.

Last week i was on twitter and i came across a tweet implying that if you do not vote for All Progressive Congress (APC) or People's  Democratic  Party (PDP) you have lost your vote or don't even bother voting. I totally disagree with this notion. The thing is we give them that power, think of it like a norm.We are not limited them alone.

While some have decided not to vote for either of them or even vote at all. "Why vote for individuals who does not care or know that we exist but only the time for election they will remember the citizens " they say. I was also part of them but this opinion is totally wrong trust me. This is for our future and Four (4) years is a long time, trust me. Alot would happen withing four years and lives would be affected.

      Now here is deal guys don't let anyone decide for you. Whether you like it or not we are in this together. This is for our future, our kids and families. If we claim that we want change, a better Nigeria and we are not ready to play our part. Then we are already failing, it's only a dream. So i will urge us to come out and vote, your vote count. And when you are done voting please go back to your house and do not engage in any form of political disagreement with anyone. No election is worth your life

UNBALANCED LIVELIHOOD

   Hi guys,  Today, I want to talk about the relationship and the imbalance between White collar jobs, Blue collar jobs and Pink collar jobs. Oftentimes we fail to realize the link between these jobs and the sectors in which they exist.  In Africa and other part of the world, people tend to focus more attention on certain sectors, and at the same time see others as beyond their reach or dimining (according to Urban Dictionary). BEING JUDGED

   Judgement is an opinion or decision based on thoughts,  feelings and evidence "within the first seven seconds of meeting someone,  our brain makes you different  decision,  about them including their intelligence, socioeconimic status, education, competence and trustworthiness, " said corporate image consultant and personal braind strategist Anna Hinson.      It's so easy to pass out judgement on other people and most times we expect not to be judged.
