UNBALANCED LIVELIHOOD

Image
Hi guys,  Today, I want to talk about the relationship and the imbalance between White collar jobs, Blue collar jobs and Pink collar jobs. Oftentimes we fail to realize the link between these jobs and the sectors in which they exist.  In Africa and other part of the world, people tend to focus more attention on certain sectors, and at the same time see others as beyond their reach or dimining (according to Urban Dictionary). Nevertheless, irrespective of the values members of the society place on it, (white collar sector, blue collar sector and pink collar jobs) they all rely on each other.

Hypocritical Beings

I talked about Being Judged in one of my articles, and today's societal problem is actually not too different  from it. Being judgmental is passing out judgment or voicing an opinion on others about what they should do, wear or how to live their lives. A hypocrite judges someone and still engages in those same actions or thought either secretly or publicly, majority of US engage consciously in such  actions and are still quick to crucify others.        This actions of hasty judgement has become a norm among Nigerians and people show no remorse or concern about such issue, despite the fact that Nigeria is one of the most Religious country in Africa, this is where Christianity, Islam, African Traditional Religion (ATR) exist in large majority and Hinduism, Buddhism and others exist in small group, but our actions and morals negate the doctrine and practices of Religion. Some of us from this part of the world...

BEING JUDGED

Judgement is an opinion or decision based on thoughts,  feelings and evidence "within the first seven seconds of meeting someone,  our brain makes you different  decision,  about them including their intelligence, socioeconimic status, education, competence and trustworthiness, " said corporate image consultant and personal braind strategist Anna Hinson.      It's so easy to pass out judgement on other people and most times we expect not to be judged. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Judgement can be positive  or negative,  everyone has a philosophy  or a certain way they feel one should live his/her life.  How you deal with this judgement is up to you.       One thing is you can't satisfy everyone just do what is right and make sure you are happy. Judging only becomes a problem when we make unnecessary,  hurtful or unfair judgment based on little evidence.  People will always que...

Do Mother's Still Feel the Need to Protect their Young?

Image
The question on my mind today is "do mother's still feel the attachment and the need to protect their young in this 21st century".    I have been reading a lot of news about mothers or young girls abandoning their babies in places you can't imagine a baby should be. You see this is not a new thing but the rate at which this act is repeating itself is alarming.      Mother's are perceived has women willing to protect their young. Most mothers also experience love at first site when they give birth to their babies. They show great love and care however way they can.       Now things are changing most women no longer feel the attachment they ought to feel and as a result leads to child neglect. We cant also deny the fact that lack of good living could also aid this bad vice. Mother's abandon their babies in places like drain, roadside and some even try to flush their babies in the toilet. I can't really put my hands on...
